Katie는 2020년 상반기 LA에서 판데믹 시대를 맞이했다. 그리고 나서 가족들이 있는 New Jersey로 이주했다. 또한 BLM이라는 역사적 상황을 직접 미국에서 겪기도 했다. 삶의 이러한 변화속에서, 그녀가 느낀 감정들과 이야기들을 담아낸 앨범이다.
2020년 우리가 마주할 수 밖에 없었던 "Blue"에 대하여. Thinkin Bout You를 프로듀싱 했던 Kuya 부터, Kesha , NAO, Gallant 등과 작업하고 있는 stint 등 북미출신의 프로듀서진, 그리고 EN MGMT의 새로운 프로듀서들과 힘을 모아 EP를 완성시켰다. 셀프 프로듀싱의 비중이 늘어난 앨범이기도 하다.
그녀의 목소리로 가득 채워진 6곡을 재생하고 나면, 어느새 그녀의 목소리가 향수처럼, 온 몸에 배이게 된다.
캐롤이 가득한 2020년의 12월, 지울 수 없었던 Blue라는 색과 그녀의 목소리를 마주하게 될 것이다.
